We are beginning to actively solicit volunteers for the 12 & Under State Meet. The following two documents show the current status of volunteers. Please review the Volunteer Assignment List for your status as a volunteer at the meet. We will be publishing instructions on how to select an assignment and communicate that to our Meet Committee. Check back on this page frequently.
December, 2009
BBA has won a bid to host a meet for the 2009-10 Short Course Season. We will be hosting the 12 & Under State Meet on March, 12-14, 2010 at Waterford Mott High School.
Michael Guttilla has graciously volunteered to be the meet director. We would welcome anyone else who would like to learn the role of Co-meet director to assist Michael this year. If you are interested please contact Laura Burke.
This is a very important event not only for the club to earn money, but a responsibility of clubs to provide opportunities for our swimmers to have a venue to compete. Please consider making this YOUR contribution to Michigan Swimming and our team.
Thank you for your continued commitment to Birmingham Bloomfield Atlantis swimming. Without your contribution of time, talent, and energy our meet could not happen!
As with many other organizations we are always looking for volunteers throughout the year for board positions or to head a single event. Now that our club has become so large and spread amongst four pools it is often difficult to know who may be interested in furthering their commitment to BBA.
